Trick-or-treating is a popular Halloween activity where children go from house to house, often in their costumes, asking for treats like candy or small gifts by saying "trick or treat." It's believed to have originated from the medieval practice of ," where the poor would go door-to-door offering prayers for the dead in exchange for food.

Haunted houses, corn mazes, and pumpkin carving are also traditional Halloween activities. Carved pumpkins, known as jack-o'-lanterns, are often displayed with eerie faces carved into them, with a candle or light placed inside.

Halloween is a time for parties, gatherings, and a celebration of the supernatural, with spooky decorations, horror movie marathons, and themed treats being part of the festivities. It's a time when people embrace the thrill of the unknown and enjoy the playful frights associated with the holiday.

In today’s time, on the Halloween Day people dress up and visit other homes for trick or treating. 

People across the US and the Europe celebrate the Halloween through several ways such as by hosting Halloween-theme based parties, screening of horror movies, and Halloween-themed games.

History:-

The Halloween’s origin dates back to the medieval times when it was celebrated for a completely different reason.

The history tells that the Halloween had its origins in the festival of Samhain among the Celts of ancient Britain and Ireland.

On the day corresponding to November 1, the new year was believed to begin.
